Collective Rights Management Regulations

DACS is committed to meeting the standards put in place by the Collective Rights Management Regulations, introduced into UK law in April 2016.

Background

The Collective Rights Management (CRM) Regulations - formally known as The Collective Management of Copyright (EU Directive) Regulations 2016 - is a law that sets service standards on collective management organisations such as DACS, to ensure their operations and governance structures are transparent and consistent.

It is based on an EU law which intends to level the playing field for collective management organisations across Europe.
