  • DACS pays record £15 million to artists in 2014

    DACS has published its latest Annual Review, which shows a record distribution of £15 million in royalties to 19,000 visual artists and artists’ estates in 2014. It also highlights the work DACS is undertaking to protect and develop artists’ income streams for the future.

  • Major artists donate to DACS Foundation fundraising auction

    Over 50 artists including Tracey Emin, Susan Hiller and Yinka Shonibare MBE are donating artwork to raise money for DACS Foundation, a new charitable organisation for the visual arts. The works will be auctioned by Christie’s and Paddle8 in September 2015.

  • DACS campaigns to recover unpaid Artist’s Resale Right royalties

    DACS has led a successful compliance campaign to ensure galleries, auction houses and art dealers in the UK pay artists and estates their Artist’s Resale Right royalties. So far in 2015, DACS has recovered over £110,500 in royalties from backdated sales.
