World Creators Summit

The fourth biennial 'World Creators Summit' is the leading international and cross-industry forum addressing the future of the creative community in the digital economy.

Organised by CISAC, the worldwide network of authors' societies, the summit takes place in Washington DC on 4 & 5 June 2013.

Under the slogan - Create, Connect, Respect - the two day conference will bring together the world’s most prominent creative artists, government officials, and industry leaders to exchange views on the value of creative works, the future of copyright, the role of creators, and the collective management of authors’ rights. 

CISAC, (International Confederation of Societies of Authors and Composers), is the leading worldwide network of authors’ societies, of which DACS is a member. The umbrella organisation comprises 231 collective management organisations in 121 countries who together protect the interests of over 3 million creators and rightsholders worldwide.
