Take part in EU research into artists’ pay

The European Commission is undertaking a survey of photographers, illustrators and designers to research differences in artists’ pay across Europe. Artists are invited to complete the survey by Sunday 14 June 2015.

    Why take part

The European Commission is currently researching differences in the remuneration of visual artists and writers across Europe to help shape future EU legislation and policy impacting artists’ pay.

As part of a network of European collecting societies, DACS is inviting photographers, illustrators and designers in the UK to contribute to the research by completing a survey. We are also contributing to the wider study on behalf of artists.

The survey is being conducted by Europe Economics and the Institute for Information Law of the University of Amsterdam, on behalf of the European Commission.

Complete the survey by 14 June 2015

The survey takes approximately 10-15 minutes to complete and all responses will be anonymous. Your answers will be treated as confidential and will not be shared with any third parties.

The deadline for completing the survey is Sunday 14 June 2015.
