A major retrospective of Scottish artist Eduardo Paolozzi is open at Chichester’s Pallant House Gallery until 13 October. To coincide, Cass Sculpture Foundation will also exhibit his sculptures from 16 July to 26 October.
Paolozzi at Pallant House
Eduardo Paolozzi (1924-2005), represented by DACS and one of
our founding artists, is widely celebrated as a leading sculptor of the post-war age.
A major retrospective now open at
Pallant House Gallery in Chichester, however, draws attention to Paolozzi’s exceptionally versatile approach to making art, presenting over 150 works in a variety of media with a special focus on his use of collage.
As well as exploring Paolozzi’s role as a leader in British Pop Art, connections are also made with the Surrealists, European Modernists and the post-war cultures of Britain and America.
Eduardo Paolozzi: Collaging Culture is open until 13 October.
