“The business side of being an artist is just as important as the creative side” – Pogus Caesar

Out in the world
This year, our events have explored super cool Frieze dens and worldly 19
th century meeting houses.
Our fringe Frieze event saw Duggie Fields in conversation with The Art Newspaper’s Louisa Buck, amid jazzy cow-print seats at the Soho Hotel.
We teamed up with Artquest to present Spaced Out, a riveting one-day conference at Central Saint Martins that even had ArtRabbit chattering.
Turner Prize-nominated Anthea Hamilton spoke on A Space for Thought at our inaugural Annual Lecture at the Art Workers’ Guild.
The launch of Art360’s archiving app – which we helped to fund – took us to the seductive world of the RA with a special speech by Sonia Boyce.
And that’s only to name a few…

Making moves
Blockchain has been on everyone’s lips this year. Not one to be late to the party, DACS has been driving the narrative within the art world. From pioneering academic reports to thought pieces, our campaigning has reached some serious heights.
