Artists have just under two weeks left to enter Converse and Dazed & Confused’s annual Emerging Artists Award, with the deadline fast approaching on Sunday 23 June.
Championing new UK artists
Converse and
Dazed & Confused are seeking out the UK’s most exciting, talented new artists under the age of 35 for their yearly
Emerging Artists Award.
The award champions and provides exposure for gifted emerging artists at a crucial stage in their career.
Shortlisted artists will receive £1,000 each to display new pieces in a pop-up group show in East London. The overall winner will receive an additional £5,000 at an exclusive awards ceremony at
Whitechapel Gallery.
Selection will be overseen by a judging panel made up of key figures in the art world, including established curators, gallerists and tastemakers.
This year’s panel includes curator Kirsty Ogg and Turner Prize-nominated artist Paul Noble. Find out who else is taking part in 2013’s panel by visiting
Dazed & Confused’s website.
