DACS is delighted to launch Artimage, a new digital image resource exclusively curated to showcase and license exceptional works of modern and contemporary art.
Access to thousands of artist-approved images
Launched to coincide with our 30
th anniversary,
the Artimage website is a growing collection of thousands of images of modern and contemporary art by a range of artists represented by DACS for
Copyright Licensing.
These images are available to license for a range of uses, from magazines and books to film, TV and advertising.
Unlike other image services, the majority of image and licence fees go back to artists and estates, supporting their income and practice. Each use of an image is also approved by the artist or artist's estate as part of the licensing process.
Artimage builds on our current portfolio of services, developing artists’ income streams, supporting the visual arts sector and contributing to the creative economy.

Artists featuring on Artimage include Francis Bacon, Sir Peter Blake, Sandra Blow, Frank Bowling, Tracey Emin, Anya Gallaccio, Roger Hiorns, Damien Hirst, Roy Lichtenstein, Liliane Lijn, Richard Long, Yinka Shonibare, Andy Warhol and Jane and Louise Wilson, to name a few.
