Crucial investment in artists’ legacies
Each artist and estate will engage in a bespoke programme of activity worth up to £6,000 each, where they will receive practical, specialist support in areas including archive management, storage and asset valuation.
Addressing the individual needs of each participant,
Art360 will invest £200,000 in these artists’ legacies, ensuring their work is safeguarded for the future and enjoyed by generations to come.
Jacqueline Poncelet, who is also a member of DACS, said:
“My career has been a diverse one as I never wanted to stay still but rather go on discovering new ways of working and new forms of expression. But this constant process of change has led to a lack of attention on my part, to my past. My history feels fragmented. I feel that it is time to make a proper record of everything I have achieved, to draw all these threads together.”

Over the next three years, Art360 will support 100 modern and contemporary artists in the UK, with between 30 and 40 artists and estates selected each year.
Learning from the project will be shared through DACS Foundation’s website, a legacy toolkit for artists and their estates, and a series of regional events and workshops.
Art360 is supported using public funding by the National Lottery through
Arts Council England, and the shared expertise of its partners, the
Art Fund, DACS,
The Henry Moore Foundation and
The National Archives.
