CASS 3D Conference

The Cass Sculpture Foundation announce a conference exploring the impact of new technologies on sculpture, form and design.

The two-day CASS 3D Conference will address new developments in 3D printing (a.k.a additive manufacturing), and how this rapidly changing production technology impacts the concepts and realities of the art world.

Together with a range of international speakers drawn from the technology, manufacturing, and the art world, participants at the conference will look at the possibilities of this new techology and how it is influencing, and will continue to influence, form in the 21st century.

The conference will be held on 9-10 November 2013 at the CASS Sculpture Foundation at Goodwood, West Sussex.

CASS Sculpture Foundation are working in partnership with Manchester Metropolitan University's Manchester Institute for Research and Innovation in Art and Design (MIRIAD) and other educational bodies.
