Artists receive their share of Payback

DACS is distributing over £3 million in Payback royalties this week.

Artists, beneficiaries and representatives of visual artists who made a successful Payback claim in 2012, can expect to receive their royalty payment by 31st December.

Payback is annual service run by DACS which pays royalties to visual artists and their representatives whose work has been reproduced in UK books and magazines or featured on UK television channels.

This year claimants had from the 1st August to 31st October 2012 to claim their a share of over £3 million in royalties.

Payback will re-launch summer 2013.
