Artists' Fund: consultancy brief

A consortium of five artist-focused organisations - DACS,   a-n, AIR, Axis and Artquest - have come together to explore how they can supplement the financial support available to artists through the current portfolio of public and private funding bodies.

We are seeking to appoint a consultant to help create a new fund for artists. We intend to establish a fund that will disburse small amounts of money to artists (£1K - £3K) so that they can develop new work.

We now wish to appoint a consultant who will co-ordinate our efforts and develop a fundraising strategy.

Please outline in your expression of interest how your previous experience and skills equip you to fulfil our brief. We would ask you to provide a detailed programme of work indicating how you would approach the tasks outlined above and how you would allocate your time. We are also keen to know what you see as key issues associated with our proposal.

Interviews will take place in London on Tuesday 30 October.
