    Explore collaboration

Bursaries are available to emerging and mid-career UK artists who are currently members of a-n.

They can apply for £500-£1000 to support the research and development of a new collaborative project with one or more artists or individuals.

The scheme follows the success of a-n’s professional development programme for artists, which includes AIRTIME, a seminar series in which DACS has been involved to increase artists’ understanding of their rights.

    How to apply

You can apply for a bursary by downloading and completing an application form from a-n’s website. Note that you must hold a current membership with a-n in order to apply.

Students undertaking an undergraduate degree and artists who have graduated from an undergraduate degree within the past 24 months are unfortunately not eligible to apply. Visit a-n’s website for more information about eligibility.

The deadline for applications is 5pm, Thursday 26 September.

Are you an artist or artist’s beneficiary? If your work has been used in UK books and magazines or on TV, you can claim Payback royalties. Find out more and register.
