    DACS Presents Phyllida Barlow
    20th October 2021, 5-6pm
    Online event

DACS is delighted to present an intimate conversation with Phyllida Barlow which will look at the challenges faced by art students and how these problematics are radically shaping the future of the Arts in this country.

With a career spanning several decades and a life-long commitment to art education, this event will be a moment to consider, explore and share some reflections on this far-reaching topic and bring to the fore how to better support and encourage the next generation of artists.

For more than 50 years, Barlow has taken inspiration from her surroundings to create imposing installations that can be at once menacing and playful. She has exhibited extensively internationally and in 2017 represented Britain at the Venice Biennale. Her work is currently on display as part of the Artist Rooms collection at Tate Modern.

Barlow will be joined in conversation by DACS Chief Executive, Gilane Tawadros.
