Our #FairShareForArtists campaign champions the vital contribution artists make to our society. In our uncertain times, it is more important than ever to show the art world is united in support of royalties for artists.

We’re calling on you to join our campaign for greater recognition of artists’ rights and livelihoods. Here's how you can get involved.

We need everyone’s help to spread the word!

Share our facts and figures on social media – most people don’t know that the average income for an artist is £5,000. Make sure you use the hashtag #FairShareforArtists and tag your MP.

Sign up as a supporter – show artists that you care if they get royalties and get paid! We must show the Government that we have the backing of the entire art world.

Write to your MP – anyone can do it and it’s perfect timing now that new MPs are arriving. Get in touch via communications@dacs.org.uk if you have any questions or need any help.

Are you an artist?

Say it on social – post a short video to Instagram or Twitter saying why artists' rights are so important. Don’t forget to use the hashtag #FairShareforArtists and tag your MP

Lobby with us – nothing brings the issues to life like hearing straight from artists. If you are able to join us in Parliament to lobby MPs please let us know via communications@dacs.org.uk.

Hear it from the artists
